HTC published a press release stating that the company has in the third quarter of 2015 operating loss of 138%. Worse, the company during the same period last year, made some profit for 2015.
According to the statement, the company's quarterly revenues amounted to about 21.4 billion Taiwan dollars (about 659 million US dollars) with an operating loss of 4.94 billion Taiwan dollars. And that half of what was the case one year ago, as revenue amounted to about 41.9 billion Taiwan dollars.
Apparently, this dramatic decline in sales is clear that is caused by increasing competition in all segments of the smart phone market. Not only that, but it seems that the main reason is to increase the demand of Chinese enterprises for the market to just a "competition".
HTC certainly the future will contain many of the problems, and the only hope for Shakura even back again is receiving financial support, and will evaporate unless its name from the market soon!
